Incident Report Receipt & Review

The SRC receives written documentation of an incident + reviews to determine if the student played a role

Notice of Incident

Students receive a letter documenting the incident + alleged charges

Notice of Hearing

Students receive a letter with hearing appointment details. In some cases, students may receive a Notification of Alternative Resolution Process in lieu of a student conduct hearing.

Conduct Hearing

Students meet with the Hearing Officer to share their perspectives and discuss personal responsibility

  • Scheduled at least 2 business days before hearing

Decisions & Outcome

The Hearing Officer reviews hearing information to determine responsibility. If found responsible, the student will be assigned restorative sanctions

  • Decision sent within 10 business days of hearing

Sanctions

Assigned sanctions are to be completed by a set deadline. If this deadline isn't met, a registration hold will be placed on the account

Optional: Submit an Appeal

If a student disagrees with the decision an appeal can be submitted

  • Within 10 business days of hearing outcome letter
